Morristown and Brier Hill firefighters work to disconnect the battery from the overturned vehicle.
MORRISTOWN — The Morristown Fire & Rescue Company and Brier Hill Fire Department responded to a personal-injury motor vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon on State Route 58.
One person was transported to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center by Morristown rescue for injuries sustained during the accident, according to Morristown Fire Department.
The accident sent debris into one driving lane which closed half of the road for approximately 45 minutes while firefighters cleared car parts and a large rock that ended up in the roadway.
State police were also on scene.
The name of the driver was not released.
