The Great South Woods String Band will perform traditional and Irish folk music on Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 6-8 p.m. in the gazebo.
The Potsdam Brass Quintet is slated to play classic and contemporary brass music on Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 6-8 p.m. in the gazebo.
Concertgoers are advised to bring their own chair or blanket for seating. Rain locations will be announced.
All series performances are free to attend, but donations are accepted.
This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a
regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts.
The series also is being presented, in part, with funds provided by the Town of Colton and funds raised by the town’s Tourism &
Beautification Committee throughout the year from raffles and the sale of products including painted barn quilts created with the
help of Colton-Pierrepont Central School students and others. Also five businesses are helping sponsor the series this year—
Canterbury Builders LLC, Catamount Lodge & Forest LLC, Gray & Gray and Associates, Raquette River Pub, and S&L Electric.
