POTSDAM -- Students of the block for the fourth block of the school year were recently acknowledged at A. A. Kingston Middle School.
Students of the block included Caroline Ettinger-DeLong, fifth grade; Lauryn Bigwarfe, fifth grade; Alden DiMarco, band; Lydia Austin, sixth grade; Will Varney, seventh grade; Kayla Giffin, seventh grade; and Christopher Jones, sixth grade.
Mark Bennett, AAK Middle School principal, presented the awards.
Students were selected “on the basis of scholastic achievement, citizenship, and extra curricular activities,” according to a press release from the school.
“Outstanding effort and attitude are highly valued as well,” the release said.
