POTSDAM – A 71-year-old man was arrested Monday for allegedly restraining and making unwanted sexual contact with a 13-year-old victim, according to village police.
James Andrew Pleau of Potsdam was charged with forcible touching and unlawful imprisonment second degree at 4:14 p.m., police said.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation that began on Saturday, police said.
He was arraigned in Potsdam Village Court and released under the supervision of the St. Lawrence County Probation Department, police said.
