CANTON -- St. Lawrence University's Kappa Delta Sigma sorority is hosting a 5K run/walk on April 25 to raise money for breast cancer research.
The event starts at 4 p.m. at the victory bell in front of SLU's Newell field house, located off Park Street.
Top finishers will receive prizes.
Pre-registration is Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., participants can also sign up at race time.
The event is open to the public.
Funds raised go to the Susan G. Komen cancer research foundation.
