A spring snowstorm is forecasted for St. Lawrence County with 3 to 7 inches possible Wednesday and Thursday.

Starting as rain tonight and into Wednesday, the precipitation will change to snow late Wednesday night. According to the National Weather Service.

Tonight: A 50 percent chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. East wind 9 to 11 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Wednesday: Rain. High near 41. East wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Wednesday Night: Snow, possibly mixed with rain, becoming all snow after midnight. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 31. East wind around 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Thursday: Snow. High near 35. Northeast wind around 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Thursday Night: Snow showers. Low around 31. Northeast wind 8 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Friday: Snow showers before 10am, then rain and snow showers between 10am and 11am, then rain showers after 11am. High near 40. North wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Friday Night: Rain showers likely, possibly mixing with snow after 9pm, then gradually ending. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 33. North wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45. North wind around 9 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30. Northeast wind 7 to 10 mph.
