POTSDAM – The 12th annual “Pride in Potsdam Clean Up Day” has been rescheduled to Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to noon, a week later than originally planned.
According to the National Weather Service there is a 70 percent chance of rain on Saturday with wind gusts as high as 26 m.p.h. possible.
Individuals and groups interested in participating should meet at the Potsdam Rescue Squad Complex where they will be assigned a work area.
Supervisors should arrive at 9:15 a.m., while other volunteers are asked to arrive by 9:45 a.m.
Brooms, shovels, rakes, trash bags, gloves and bottled water will be provided.
Groups wishing to help out, or people willing to supervise a group, should contact the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce at 274-9000 potsdam@slic.com.
