CANTON -- North Country Grown Cooperative is seeking two volunteers from mid-August to mid-October.
They are needed Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the NCGC Drop-off & Distribution Center on Route 68 near the Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm.
One will help sort and load boxes of produce weighing up to 50 pounds on pallets and check to see that orders are complete. A second volunteer is needed for data entry.
NCGC is a cooperative of local growers that markets and distributes fresh produce to local universities, restaurants and other large-demand markets.
