MASSENA — Interviews for the new Superintendent of the Department of Public Works are currently being conducted, village officials say.
During the village board’s Oct. 19 meeting, Trustee Greg Paquin confirmed interviews had begun as the village searched for a replacement for current Superintendent Hassan Fayad, who plans to retire in the near future.
Fayad has been the superintendent of DPW for over 30 years.
