MASSENA -- Crews will begin milling and paving operations on Main Street in the village between Maple Street and state Route 37 beginning June 26 with work expected to be complete by July 2.
Motorists traveling through the work zone should expect one-way alternating traffic controlled by flaggers and should also expect delays, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Variable message signs are being deployed to alert motorists of the work, a press release said.
Motorists are urged to slow down and safely move over when approaching roadside vehicles displaying red, white, blue, amber or green lights, including maintenance and construction vehicles in work zones.
