Traffic stop in Oswegatchie turns up meth, three Ogdensburg residents face felonies

OSWEGATCHIE - The Ogdensburg residents face drug charges following a traffic stop Friday on State Highway 812, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.

Deputies said the following people were charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony:

• Bernard W. Huntley, 51

• Daniel V. Dominie, 50

• Ashley M. Williams, 27

Dominie was charged with an additional count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, officers said.

Sheriff's K-P Unit Shelly alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle, deputies said.

The three subjects were allegedly in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine.

All three people were arraigned in Canton court by Judge Morgan with Domimie and Williams remanded to St. Lawrence County jail.

Huntley was turned over to Ogdensburg police on a bench warrants.

Deputies were assisted by state police and Ogdensburg police.
