Three people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash in Lisbon and a motorist in Brasher was charged with drunk driving after losing control of his vehicle Wednesday.
State police investigated a two-vehicle accident along St. Rt 11C in Lawrence Wednesday in which three people were hurt.
Vehicles driven by Rebecca L. Walters, 44, of Hartford, Vt., and Jason R. Downer, 21, Norwood, apparently collided at about 4 p.m.
Police say they have concluded their investigation of that accident.
Troopers also responded Wednesday shortly before 10 p.m. to a report of an accident along Cty. Rt. 37 in Brasher.
They say the driver, Paul J. Young, 45, Winthrop, lost control of his vehicle due to unsafe speed, snow covered road surface, and alcohol intoxication.
Young was taken to state police headquarters in Massena were he submitted to a breath test, resulting in a 0.11 percent BAC reading, police say.
Young was released to a third party with traffic tickets for unsafe speed and DWI. He is to appear in Town of Brasher Court Jan. 4 to answer the charges.
