COLTON – Brookfield Renewable U.S. will start an intake rehab project at the Colton hydropower facility on Friday, July 1 with an anticipated completion date of Sept. 24.
The closed portion of the trail will encompass areas in the direct vicinity of the Colton intake and dam. This includes the southern entrance to the west riverside trail, the footbridge crossing the pipeline and approximately 3,000 feet of the pipeline footpath/canoe carry from the dam, traveling north.
Due to weather conditions, the schedule is subject to change without prior notice.
Please use caution and wear a personal flotation device when recreating on or near water. Play close attention to your surroundings and respect all signage, sirens and barriers.
