State police charge Potsdam, Ogdensburg, Harrisville residents with DWI during New Year's crackdown

OSWEGATCHIE — An Ogdensburg man faces 10 charges, including drunk driving, following a traffic stop on CR 4 Monday evening, according to state police.

Joshua J. Ladouceur, 25, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated: No prior, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator: Alcohol, felony; failure to keep right and speeding, troopers said.

He was additionally charged with operating a motor vehicle without insurance, unregistered motor vehicle, license place violation, moving from a lane unsafely, unsafe turn, and failure to stop at a stop sign, officers said.

He was cited and released on tickets returnable in court at a later date, troopers said.

POTSDAM — A Potsdam woman was charged with drunk driving Monday night on SH 56, according to state police.

Patricia R. McCarthy , 45, was charged with first-offense DWI and an equipment violation for failure to dim lights at 10:40 p.m., troopers said.

She was issued tickets and released.

EDWARDS — A Harrisville man was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated on SH 58 Monday night, according to state police.

Noah J. Carr, 21, was charged with aggravated DWI, speeding and failure to keep right at 10:17 p.m., troopers said.

He was cited and released.

OSWEGATCHIE — An Ogdensburg resident was charged with driving while intoxicated on SH 37 Tuesday morning, according to state police.

Tristan H. Vine, 22, was charged with first-offense DWI at 3:41 a.m., police said.

He was cited and released.
