STOCKHOLM — A St. Regis Falls man was charged by a county sheriff’s deputy with four counts of animal cruelty (torture/injure/not feed animals) on March 10.
Jason M. Snyder, 36, was charged after an investigation revealed that he allegedly failed to provide two dogs and two cats he was caring for with proper sustenance.
The sheriff’s department said the animals were not given food, water and veterinary intervention which ultimately led to the death of the animals.
The charges are misdemeanors.
Snyder was ticketed and is scheduled to appear in Stockholm town court at a later date.
