St. Lawrence County Workforce Development area submitting 2 year plan to state

CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Workforce Development Area is submitting a 2 year Local Plan and Regional Plan Modification to the New York State Department of Labor on Friday, Jan. 31, said a press release from the One Stop Career Center.

The St. Lawrence County Workforce Development Area is designated by the New York State Workforce Development Board under the provisions of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Public Law 113-128 of 2014.

Modifications to the Local Plan are updates regarding the executive director and a name change for the current fiscal agent.

Modifications to the Regional Plan include updates on employment statistics.

The documents will be available for public review and comment beginning Monday, Jan. 20, to Wednesday, Jan. 29, at the St. Lawrence County One-Stop Career Center, 80 State Highway 310, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or online at www.slconestop.com.
