The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office recently presented Deputy Bobbi Snyder with a letter of commendation for her courageous acts on the evening of Dec. 2, 2021.
Snyder was notified of a report of an unconscious male in the Town of Canton. She expeditiously responded to the scene and without hesitation began administering CPR to the unconscious male. Due to the immediate action of Snyder and the aid of Canton Rescue, a pulse was able to be regained. The male was subsequently transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
Snyder was hired as a deputy sheriff just two days prior on Nov. 30.
