The St. Lawrence County Multi-Use Trail will reopen on Wednesday, Dec. 15. This includes the County snowmobile trails if sufficient snow is on the ground.
The St. Lawrence County Multi-Use Trail Committee and the snowmobile clubs strongly encourage all users of both trail systems to follow all rules and regulations to ensure that everyone can enjoy their winter activities.
Remember, motorized modes of transportation give the right of way to all other trail users. Also, ensure that each snow machine is registered, insured, and the proper maintenance has been performed prior to hitting the trails. Wear the authorized helmet. Have a cell phone that is fully charged, food and drink available in case of a breakdown, proper tools to make repairs to your machine and travel with at least one “buddy”.
Individuals can follow the committee’s trail reports on Facebook or at www.slcsa.org for the latest trail information.
