MORRISTOWN - The St. Lawrence County Conservative Party is inviting the public to attend its annual “Summer Meet and Greet BBQ” on Sunday, June 6 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Morristown Fire Department. The event will be catered by Parker Piercey BBQ and the cost is $20 for singles and $30 for couples.
The gathering will provide the public an opportunity to meet elected officials and the 35 candidates being endorsed by the Conservative Party for a host of positions across St. Lawrence County.
“We have some outstanding people running for election this fall under the Conservative banner,” said St. Lawrence County Conservative Party Chair Henry “Hank” Ford. “We want the public to come out and meet our candidates, learn how they can get involved in civic affairs in the North Country and help our political campaigns in the fall elections. Our events draw some of New York’s top elected officials,” said Ford. “You never know who will be there this year.”
The event will also feature live entertainment.
