MASSENA -- The Board of Education at their Thursday, Feb. 13 meeting approved spring sports coaches and a program appointment.
Ryan Ransom was appointed to the Mohawk Language After School Program for the remainder of the school year and will be paid $25 per hour.
Baseball coaches approved by the board include: Greg Paquin, varsity baseball, $5,199; Taylor Zappia, varsity baseball volunteer coach; Pete Firnstein, varsity/junior varsity volunteer coach; Alex Kormanyos, JV baseball coach, $3,388; Jake Kormanyos, JV baseball volunteer coach; Sam Zappia, modified baseball coach, $3,388; John Acton, modified baseball volunteer coach.
Softball coaches approved by the board include Susan Macaulay, varsity, $5,199; Linda McKeel, varsity volunteer coach; Adrian Taraska, varsity/modified volunteer coach; Ashley Blancard, modified coach, $2,968.
Boys lacrosse coaches include: Jim Morrell, varsity, $4,390; Daniel Bero, varsity volunteer coach; Sean Faucher, modified/varsity volunteer coach; Ryan Jacobs, modified, $2,743.
Girls lacrosse coaches include: Jeffrey Slack, varsity, $4,617; Troy Mitchell, varsity/modified volunteer coach; Ed Letham, girls modified, $2,743.
Other coaches include: Mike Matejcik, golf, $2,968; Dak Zaza, girls spring track, $5,199; Thomas Oldenburgh, boys spring track, $4,390; Anthony Diagostino, modified boys/girls track, $3,368.
