Snow and freezing rain will miss the St. Lawrence Valley as it hits other parts of the state and nearby Vermont, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
There is a slight chance of snow before 1 p.m. today with a high near 27, the service says. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a low around 16.
Tuesday will be a bit warmer with a high near 31 and mostly sunny skies, forecasters predict. There is a chance of snow overnight Tuesday with a low around 21.
Temps continue to rise into Wednesday with highs topping out at 36, NWS says.
