CANTON — A Star Lake woman has been charged after being found to possess buprenorphine (suboxone) while incarcerated at the St. Lawrence County jail on Sept. 24, said a press release from the county sheriff.
Crystal A. Branchaud, 37, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Branchaud was arraigned in Canton town court and remanded back to county jail.
She is to appear in town court again at a later date.
