Rensselaer Falls pair accused of possessing meth-making materials following drug complaint

OSWEGATCHIE — Two Rensselaer Falls residents were arrested Sunday night on Rensselaer Street following a drug complaint, according to state police.

James R. Petrie, 36, was charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, felony, first-offense driving while intoxicated, first-degree operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired by drugs, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of meth manufacturing materials, officers said.

His arrest status was listed as held.

Natasha M. Petrie, 30, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of meth manufacturing materials, troopers said.
