RENSSELAER FALLS – The annual Rensselaer Falls kids fishing derby attracted 65 young anglers, ages 3-15 Saturday morning, Sept. 10. The derby was part of The Falls Festival held Sept. 9-10.
Overall winner of the fishing derby was Braydon Storie, who caught a 4 lb. Northern pike.
Miles Wurzburg won a lifetime Sportsmans license.
Several donors made the fishing derby prizes possible: The Carlisle Law Firm, Derrick Conway, Fox and Murray funeral home, Godwin's Property Managment, Thornhill Health Managing Services LLC and Perry's Place.
The derby was run by Stephen LaRose, Kevin Cutway and Derrick Conway.
