Public Health says 37 new cases of COVID-19 reported in St. Lawrence County Friday, March 5

Thirty-seven new cases of COVID-19 were reported to St. Lawrence County Public Health today (Friday, March 5), bringing the total number of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases to-date to 6,333.

Three hundred seventy-seven cases are active, visit https://www.stlawco.org/ to check out the COVID-19 Cases by Town map layouts.

To date 5,867 cases have been released from isolation*

Twenty cases are hospitalized.

Eighty-nine deaths have occurred; this fatality data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on March 4 before 2 p.m.

Public Health said 227,027 COVID-19 tests have been performed as of March 3; this testing data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on March 4 before 2 p.m.

Testing is being done through both St. Lawrence Health Systems and Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Testing is by appointment only. Call the hotline numbers below between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. if you have symptoms, you are an essential worker or feel you should be tested:
