POTSDAM — A Potsdam man was charged with driving at three times the legal threshold for a driving while intoxicated charge on Smith Road Monday morning following an alleged domestic dispute, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Joshua D. Lechner, 33, was charged with aggravated DWI after it was discovered that he had left the residence on a motor vehicle after an altercation, officers said.
Lechner returned to the residence and was found to be operating the motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol, deputies said.
His blood-alcohol content (BAC) was .24 percent, officers said.
Lechner is to face the charge in Potsdam court at a later date.
