POTSDAM -- A Potsdam Central School teacher passed away today.
"This afternoon, we learned that high school special education teacher, Chris Donah died. Our entire school community mourns this tragic loss," said Superintendent Joann Chambers.
School will be delayed one hour tomorrow, Sept. 15, for the entire district.
High school teachers will read a brief statement to their first period classes sharing what facts are known, Chambers said.
"Please reach out to your child's principal and/or counselors if you know your child will be significantly impacted by the loss of Mr. Donah. We will be prepared to help our students navigate their grief but will also strive to maintain some semblance of a normal school day as we know the familiarity and routine will bring comfort to many," she said.
