MASSENA -- The Celine G. Philibert Cultural Center and Museum, 79 Main St., will hold a holiday open house Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. that includes a vintage toy display.
The display includes items that have been donated to the museum. It includes a combination checkers/chess/backgammon game that can be folded to look like a book and stored on a book shelf. That was donated by Massena resident Lois Nicandri, museum officials said.
The display also includes books, puzzles, a doll house, toy guns, jacks, a tea set, Tinker Toys, wooden toy soldiers, a spinning top, a cradle, a xylophone, coloring books, a miniature John Deere tractor with trailer, an “Atomic Warship” and many other items.
There will also be an exhibit by Photos by Lily Studio and refreshments available.
