Surface high pressure over the southeast coast will bring generally dry weather to the St. Lawrence Valley on Patriot Day, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

A weak disturbance passing aloft will keep skies partly cloudy with a very low chance of an isolated shower or sprinkle, NWS says.

Expect highs today around 73 with an overnight low near 65, forecasters say.

Late tonight through Sunday, a weak front dropping south from Canada will bring scattered to numerous showers through Sunday night, but dry conditions return early next week, NWS says.

Unsettled weather returns late Tuesday through Wednesday, the service says.
