Only one COVID-19 case remains at St. Lawrence County colleges; more than 17,000 tests performed

St. Lawrence County's four colleges are also reporting COVID-19 on their respective campuses. The following are updated cases and testing at each college.

SUNY Canton reports 1,899 people tested as of Sept. 25 with three positives. One of those is active and two have recovered, officials said.

SUNY Potsdam has performed 4,085 tests on students with three coming back positive, as of Sept. 29. Those cases have since been cleared by the department of health. There are two pending COVID-19 tests for students.

SUNY Potsdam says it tested 71 employees and one was positive. That person has been cleared from isolation, officials said. No employee tests are pending.

St. Lawrence University has no active cases of COVID-19. The college has performed 6,411 tests with two positive cases. Both of those cases have recovered. One test is pending. The school reports no one is in campus quarantine.

Clarkson University, as of Sept. 29, has zero active cases of COVID-19 on its campus. School officials say they have performed more than 4,977 tests with three positive cases. All of those people have since recovered.

Officials at CU say there have been no new cases of COVID-19 reported on campus since Aug. 28.

Between the four colleges, more than 17,000 tests have been performed.

All COVID-19 testing in St. Lawrence County is done through local hospital systems, by appointment only. Call the numbers below between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. if you have symptoms or feel you should be tested:
