One new case of COVID-19 was reported to the St. Lawrence County Public Health Department on Wednesday, Aug. 5, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to-date to 259.
Six cases are active and three of them are hospitalized. Visit https://www.stlawco.org/ to check out the COVID-19 Cases by Town map layouts. The maps will also be posted on the Public Health Facebook page, @SLCPublicHealth.
Two hundred and forty nine cases have been released from isolation.
Four cases are hospitalized.
Four deaths have occurred; this fatality data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on Aug. 2 before 2 p.m.
Public Health said 28,667 people have been tested for COVID-19 as of Aug. 2 this testing data comes from the New York State Department of Health and was last updated on Aug. 3 before 2 p.m.
Testing is being done through both St. Lawrence Health Systems and Claxton Hepburn Medical Center. Testing is by appointment only.
