Ogdensburg man faces felony after allegedly brandishing machete during dispute

OGDENSBURG -- An Ogdensburg man was arrested after allegedly brandishing a machete during a domestic incident July 16 on New York Avenue, according to city police.

Police said they charged Taevon Isiah Charlton-Samuels, 24, with first-degree burglary, felony, officers said.

He allegedly unlawfully entered the residence and displayed the machete.

Charlton-Samuels was released under the supervision of probation and a no-contact order of protection was issued in favor of the victim, officers said.
