OGDENSBURG -- Photos, documents and artifacts showing some of Ogdensburg Public Library's long history were on display in the library’s main reading room in celebration of the National Library Week in April.
“Many patrons enjoyed sharing memories with library staff. There was a guessing game done on what some antique tools were used for. Several people came close to the correct guesses,” said Penny Kerfien, Executive Director.
The winner of the contest was Maggie Mathews of Ogdensburg, who received a donated gift card for her winning answer.
The library also offered appreciation to its patrons with sugar cookies from The Sandwich Warehouse during Library Week. “National Library Week recognizes the role and importance of libraries in our communities each year,” said Kerfien.
