OGDENSBURG — The City of Ogdensburg Fire Department is currently auctioning off a 1994 E-ONE Cyclone 100-foot Quint Firetruck.

This online auction is open to the public at municibid.com and ends on Thursday, Aug. 4.

The fire truck is suitable for a road construction company or for use in a small fire department, said a press release about the auction.

St. Lawrence County residents and others from around New York are able to bid in this government auction online, 24/7, on Municibid.

All of the proceeds from this auction go back to the City of Ogdensburg Fire Department. These funds can be used to buy new water hoses, another vehicle, helmets, and other essentials that the fire district needs to fight fires and provide life saving services for those in dire situations.

The truck has 28,189 miles on it and features a 1250 GPM Hale midship pump, 270-gallon water tank, 30-gallon foam tank, four door aluminum cab with 5-SCBA seats (4 rear + front officer), a Detroit 8V-92TA 450hp engine, and Allison HT-740 automatic transmission.

Equipment included: mobile radio, 4-Streamlight rechargeable flashlights w/ Chargers, two 12' roof ladders, one 16' roof ladder, one 14' combination ladder, one 24' extension ladder, one 35' extension ladder, and one Onan 6000 Watt onboard generator.

This vehicle was utilized as the Ogdensburg Fire Department's front line aerial apparatus before being replaced by a new single axle 75' Quint on July 1, 2022.

This vehicle served the City of Ogdensburg well for the past 27 years.

It has been tested annually since 1994.
