NORWOOD – Norwood-Norfolk Key Club members attended their sponsoring Norwood Kiwanis Dinner on May 2 at the Lobster House in Norwood.
At the meeting Beverly King, ambassador of Comfort Cubs, came to speak to the members again. She attended a meeting last year as well. Stuffed Comfort Cub bears are considered trauma bears.
They are weighted and feel good when held, which brings comfort, a press release from Kiwanis Club clads. The Norwood-Norfolk Key Club has done fundraisers and have been able to donate three cases of these bears, Kiwanis said.
Two and a half went to the maternity ward at CPH and the rest to the youth department of the psychiatric center in Ogdensburg.
