St. Lawrence County's four colleges are also reporting COVID-19 on their respective campuses. The following are updated cases and testing at each college.
SUNY Potsdam has performed 4,971 tests on students with four coming back positive, as of Oct. 5. This includes three cases in the Potsdam area and two near Watertown, officials said. Those cases have since been cleared by the department of health. There are four pending COVID-19 tests for students.
SUNY Potsdam says it tested 672 employees and one was positive. That person has been cleared from isolation, officials said. No employee tests are pending.
St. Lawrence University has no active cases of COVID-19. The college has performed 7,328 tests with two positive cases. Both of those cases have recovered. Ten tests are pending. The school reports no one is in campus quarantine.
Clarkson University, as of Sept. 29, has zero active cases of COVID-19 on its campus. School officials say they have performed more than 5,302 tests with three positive cases. All of those people have since recovered. Officials at CU say there have been no new cases of COVID-19 reported on campus since Aug. 28.
The college reports having one active case listed under “other campus community members/testing site” and it says that case has recovered as well.
SUNY Canton reports 2,333 people tested as of Sept. 25 with three positives. No cases are active, officials said. There have been no new cases in over two weeks.
