Today will feature dry and seasonable weather with breezy conditions across the St. Lawrence Valley, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Forecasters predict a high temperature today around 73, but winds will be 13-15 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph. Overnight the low will be around 57.
Periods of showers will impact the North Country Saturday into Saturday night, the service says. Highs will be around 66.
Mostly dry weather should develop on Sunday, though with an isolated shower or two late in the evening before high pressure brings dry and cooler than normal conditions for the first half of next week, forecasters say.
The extended forecast through next Thursday is as follows:

Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 5pm. High near 66. South wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Saturday Night
Showers likely, mainly before 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 50. Southwest wind 9 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Sunday
A 30 percent chance of showers after 5pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 69. West wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

A 30 percent chance of showers before 8pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 40. Northwest wind around 9 mph becoming northeast after midnight.
