MASSENA -- A local woman will celebrate a century of life on Thursday, July 2.
Carolyn Macri Chase turns 100 that day.
Due to the current restrictions associated with COVID-19, her family cannot give her a large party.
“My aunt still lives in the home she was born in,” said Chase’s niece, Jean Morin Centrella, who submitted the above photo of her aunt. “She was actively involved at ALCOA during World War II and retired in the 1960s. She’s slowed down quite a bit, but still takes pride in her home and flower garden.”
