MASSENA — The Board of Education appointed several teacher aides and substitute teachers during their January meeting.
Appointments include: Brittany Robbins (start date Jan. 4) and Kaleigh Chambers (start date to be determined), Nightengale Elementary teacher aides, respective $19,611 pro-rated salaries; Ben Reed, junior high teacher assistant through Dec. 20, 2024, $34,456 pro-rated salary.
Appointed substitutes include Tiffany Chapman, Olivia Todd, Patricia Kenyon and Heidi Mauk, all effective Jan. 15 at $100 or $95 per day; and support staff substitute Elizabeth Ward, effective Dec. 15, 2020 at $12.75 per hour.
The board granted leaves of absence to junior high teacher Susan Emerson from Dec. 21, 2020 to Jan. 21, 2021; and high school teacher Joe Mittiga from Jan. 4 to March 19.
The board accepted a resignation from high school teacher aide Jenna Paige, effective at the close of business on Jan. 26.
