MASSENA — The Massena Central High School International Baccalaureate Program has created an “Alumni Spotlight Series” as part of their IB program.

The district has chosen 2022 graduate Logan Dobbins to spotlight.

In his short time there, Dobbins has already secured a full-time Congressional internship with the House Republican Conference.

In addition, Logan has been nominated to work at the University's Writing Center, approached for an internship within Veteran Affairs, and nominated to George Washington University's chapter of The National Society of Leadership.

When asked how being a Full IB Diploma student has helped him, Logan responded,

"I am a firm advocate for Massena's Full IB Diploma Program. All of my classes within the Program have overly prepared for all of my college courses. Compared to other students here at GW, I am ahead in presentation and writing skills. Also, the teachers within the IB program remind me of my professors. More specifically, everyone just wants to see you succeed and will help you do so. Finally, I highly recommend taking advantage of IB courses because a lot of those credits are transferable. As of now, I am a Sophomore due to that advantage. While the Full IB Diploma Program may not be suitable for everyone, I do challenge everyone to take just one class that you find interesting. Who knows? Maybe you'll enjoy it!"
