MADRID — A Madrid man is facing felony drug charges following a drug bust on Feb. 6, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Casey J. Deshane, 44, has been charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (A-2 Felony) and third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine (D Felony), officials say.
Deshane was charged after Sheriff’s Deputies received a complaint about a meth lab located at 53 North St. in the town of Madrid, officials say.
According to officials, deputies responded to the scene and executed a search warrant at which time they discovered 3.3 ounces of methamphetamine, as well as components of a one pot meth lab.
Deshane was arraigned in Canton Town Court and ordered held on no bail at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the New York State Police and th New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team.
