CANTON -- A St. Lawrence County inmate was charged with possessing dangerous prison contraband on Friday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Jerry A Yerden, no age listed, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a complaint at the county jail, officers said.
Deputies said Yerden was found in possession of suboxone while he was an inmate at the correctional facility.
He was arraigned virtually and held on $100 bond, deputies said.
