CANTON -- A county jail inmate was charged with promoting prison contraband Dec. 2 stemming from an incident on Nov. 10, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Carrie L. Burnor, 36, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband, felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, officers said.
She was allegedly found in possession of Suboxone while incarcerated at St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, deputies said.
Burnor was arraigned in Canton court and remanded to county jail.
