Another hot summer day is on tap for the St. Lawrence Valley as we see high temperatures climb into the mid 80s to lower 90s, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Our afternoon dewpoints today will be in the lower to mid 60s which will yield heat indexes ranging from 90 to 95 degrees, forecasters say.
Monday isn`t looking as hot as today but will still be hot and humid as we see our dewpoints creep upwards to the lower 70s, the service says. The heat index on Monday could exceed 95 degrees, but cloud cover may limit our overall heating.
