CANTON -- A Hermon resident was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle accident on CR 27 Saturday, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Taylor M. Ashley, 29, was charged with first-offense DWI, officers said.
The vehicle Ashley was operating reportedly exited the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Deputies said Ashley had a blood-alcohol content (BAC) of .17%.
The subject was cited and released.
