Gouverneur, St. Lawrence County Fair runs Aug. 3-8

GOUVERNEUR - The Gouverneur and St. Lawrence County Fair will be held Tuesday, Aug. 3 to Sunday, Aug. 8 with preliminary events and activities slated July 31 and Aug. 2.

The fair will open with a concert by Lonestar on Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. on the grandstand stage.

The band is comprised of Richie McDonald, lead vocals, Michael Britt on lead guitar, Keech Rainwater on drums, and Dean Sams on keyboards.

The band has amassed RIAA-certified sales in excess of ten million album units since their national launch in 1995, and achieved 10 #1 country hits including "No News," "Come Crying To Me," and their crossover smash "Amazed."

Tickets are $25 and available online or at the fair office.

The county fair will see the return of Coleman Bros. Shows, Inc. for carnival rides and games.
