GOUVERNEUR — A Gouverneur man was arrested for allegedly selling heroin and fentanyl, according to village police.
Gouverneur Village Police reportly charged Richard L. Matott, 64, with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, felony, and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony, following an investigation of heroin and fentanyl drug sales at 15 Waid Street.
Matott was arraigned at the St. Lawrence County Court before Judge John Richey and released under the supervision of probation due to New York State bail reform law, police said.
