GOUVERNEUR -- A Gouverneur man is charged with allegedly hitting a neighboring residence while shooting a gun.
Around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, state police responded to a residence on Quarry Road in the town of Gouverneur for reports of gunshots. Police say they ended up arresting 56-year-old William G. Reddick of Gouverneur after it was determined he had been shooting a .22 caliber rifle from his porch and one of the rounds struck a neighboring residence.
He was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and released with an appearance ticket for Town of Gouverneur Court, police said.
