CANTON – The Village of Canton wants the public to know the fast charger at the electric vehicle charging station on Hodskin Street is not working and may be out of commission for an indefinite period of time. The Level 2 charger is operational.
Village Trustee Klaus Proemm reported Wednesday that attempts to repair have failed and the charger may have to be replaced.
In other village matters:
Leaves and brush will continue to be picked up until the end of November.
The village board approved membership of Eric Johnson and Erich Zuhlsdorf to the Canton Fire Department.
The new ice resurfacer for the Canton Pavilion is expected to be delivered in December.
The Canton Housing Authority presented its annual Payment in Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) payment to the village for $29,224.21.
