Dry and comfortable weather will persist through the first part of the week in St. Lawrence County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Mostly sunny skies and a high near 78 is the forecast today with calm winds, the service says. Overnight the low will be around 56.

Monday will be a repeat of Sunday with highs of 78, mostly sunny skies and calm winds.

Low but increasing chances of showers follow Tuesday through Thursday, NWS says. Temperatures should be near normal or a bit below when cloud cover is more abundant, then trend above normal Friday onward.
